the games are paid for with outside funding, but san francisco fleet week will not be the same this year. that's because there won't be a fleet in the bay this year. no parade of ships, and blue angels will not be flying all because of budget cuts. a laptop full of information about patients at ucsf was stolen from a hospital employee. the laptop contained medical records, other private files, and some social security numbers. 3500 patients could be affected. they'll be getting notification letters. the man accused of murdering a san francisco state university student as he stepped off an muni train made no attempt to hide his gun and still nobody seemed to notice. prosecutors say this surveillance video shows the suspect openly holding that weapon on the train last week. at one point he skrachs his nose with it, and no one on muni even looked up. >> serve absoshd with their

i'm a little irritated that i have gotten so much negative attention for something that i did that was not a crime. >> that's where evans is right. you can't have a suspect in there is no crime, and apparently being creepy isn't criminal. bryan webb, kpix 5. well, a biker took police on a wild ride this afternoon in los angeles. check this out. they chase this guy across at least three different freeways. watch as he narrowly avoids hitting several cars while weaving in and out of traffic. once he gets off the freeway, would that be the 405, he ditches his bike and atechlts to make a clean get away on foot. our sister station's chopper followed him all the way to autozone where police caught up with him, walked him out in handcuffs. one of the suspects in that extreme road rage case in new york appeared in court today. motorcyclist christopher cruz was charged with reckless driving then frees on a $1,500 bond. cruz did not enter a plea, but
